We'd been planning to visit Austin's aunt in Dallas when he found out he had to go there for a 3 day work related trip so we decided to make it a mini family road trip out of it and stay for the weekend. The kids did wonderfully and we made excellent time.
Taggart LOVES to swim so we made sure that he got in the pool every day that we were there.
On our last night at the hotel, Austin's Aunt Karen and her twin 6 year old boys came to our hotel to join us in the pool. Yes, even Lillian put on her suit and went for a dip. (Sorry, no pictures of her in her bathing suit.)
We got these cute post swimming pictures of the kids' first bath together. I think Lillian's looking rather deliciously plump these days- perfect.
We spent the last 2 1/2 days at Karen's house playing and relaxing with her family and Austin's Uncle Glen who also lives in the area. We had a great time. It was interesting seeing how different it is traveling with 2 children especially since Taggart no longer fits in a Pack N Play and we shared a room with him every night- something we didn't think he'd be able to do. It's amazing the things we can do when we have to. I love having a flexible kid!
